India Snapshot: Homage to Embroiderers, my most recent print, is part of a suite of prints in progress. The imagery comes from a life-changing journey I was fortunate to take to India in 2024.  We visited villages where the artisans practice traditional practices of natural dyeing, weaving, block printing and embroidery.  I felt a sense of belonging in that I too am a maker and yet I was also a stranger, from another culture, another place.  One can be in place, from a place, and out of place simultaneously.
